Boat Description
XTsea is a Seawind 1160 Deluxe sailing catamaran in the 'Owners Version' configuration. Designed and built in 2006 by Seawind in Wollongong, it has been home to owners David and Colleen for more than six years. During that time they successfully circumnavigated Australia. Designed for blue water cruising, XTsea is perfectly suited to the needs of guests with a large BBQ and microwave oven and has a full set of plates, utensils, glasses, cups and serving items. The boat comes with the largest ‘Bullfrog’ Aqua lily pad available, a clear bottom kayak, a Standup Paddleboard, and a 12 foot Hobie Stand-up Stepperboard. There is a RIB tender for 6 guests with a 15HP motor if needed.
For Night or twilight charters, the XTsea is the only boat of this size in the port that we know of with a lightning display. There are multi-coloured neon LED lights on either side of the vessel, with the effect of a 'meteor-drop' on the stanchions. Paired with eye-catching graphics and a boom-bag decorated with the boat’s logo, the XTsea is quite outstanding.
The XTsea audio system is top-notch. There is a Fusion MS-RA770 head unit with a DAB + radio, Bluetooth, and an iPod with plenty of pre-loaded music. The 600W amplifier delivers songs to 10 speakers in total throughout the ship. In the cockpit, there are 7.7-inch speakers with coloured LED lights and box speakers secured to the davits for a truly immersive listening experience. The enlarged tower speakers mounted on the mast turn the foredeck into a full-fledged dance floor for guests to enjoy long into the night.
Colleen is a certified coxswain and is supported by her husband David who works as a concierge on charters after handling the rigging when docking. Staff are well presented with smart epaulettes and name tags.
