Frequently Asked Questions

You can browse boats by occasion, boat type, size and price, catering options, features onboard, and entertainment options available.

Or let us know what you want and we’ll put together some options for you. We’ll send you the total price and we’ll also break it down into the price per person.

When you have decided on a boat, we’ll confirm availability for you.

When you have decided on a boat and package you would like, we will email you a booking confirmation including the boat name, pick-up location, price and inclusions. You then have 48 hours to pay a deposit to confirm your booking. The deposit is normally $800-$1000 depending on the boat. The balance of payment is due 10 days before the cruise date.

A bond is payable before the cruise. This serves as a reminder to your guests to behave onboard. The bond is normally $500-$1000 depending on the boat and some boats require a larger bond. The bond will be refunded after the cruise if no damage occurs.

Payment methods include Bank Transfer (no transaction fees), PayPal online (2.4% transaction fee), Credit Card over the phone (2.9% transaction fee), or Stripe online (only 1.9% transaction fee).

The easiest and most popular pick-up location is King Street Wharf at Cockle Bay in the Sydney CBD.

Sydney Harbour is large and loaded with sightseeing opportunities. Most harbour charters will get you around the key vantage points from Darling Harbour in the CBD to Watsons Bay at the ocean heads so you have a full Sydney Harbour experience. The skipper will also determine the best route depending on weather conditions if necessary.

Easy Boat Hire can take you sightseeing or for stopovers at a range of popular beaches & bays, landmarks and islands.

15 minutes prior to the scheduled pick-up time please.

Yes but additional wharf fees may apply (approx $50) and this should be arranged at the time of your booking or as soon as you can advise please.

Cruises are a minimum of 3 hour charters and many boats require a minimum of 4 hour charters (see the boat profiles for details and pricing). Simple water transfers can be 1-2 hours though (again see the boat profiles for details and pricing).

Yes if you need to, subject to a time and place suitable with the boat.

All our boats are commercially licensed vessels and include licensed skippers to drive the boats. Unfortunately they are not self-drive vessels, but with the hard work off your hands you can relax and enjoy a hassle-free cruise on the best harbour in the world.

All of our boats supply eskies and/or fridges. For BYO Alcohol Boats some boats supply ice and some require you to BYO Ice. See the boat profiles to check if ice is provided.

We offer an entertainment booking service. But if you wish to arrange your own entertainment that will be subject to approval as each boat has different rules and facilities. Just let us know what you have in mind.

We can arrange decorations for you, or you can drop them off and set them up at a time and place agreed with the boat. For smaller boats that tend to have multiple bookings throughout the day you may be restricted to dropping off decorations the day before or in the morning of the cruise, then setting them up as you jump onboard your cruise with your guests. For larger function boats you absolutely have a better opportunity to setup decorations before your cruise as those boats don’t operate on tight booking schedules.

Yes that’s fine.

All of our boats have at least one toilet onboard.

On Catamarans and the skipper will request that you take your shoes off, and on smaller boats we recommend not wearing high heels onboard for safety reasons and some boat skippers may ask that you take them off. On large function boats high heels are welcome yes.

If you are running late for your cruise please contact us or your skipper, to determine what alternative pick-up times and locations are available (fees may be applicable for additional wharf bookings – approx $50).

Boats proceed in all weather conditions and they will avoid dangerous water conditions if necessary (for example they will stay closer to shore). If your boat deems conditions to be unsafe we will advise you on the morning of your cruise (or as soon as we receive the notice), in which case we will aim to reschedule your cruise.

Rescheduling cruises are subject to approval. This may incur a fee due to loss of revenue on the date you had booked (when we reserve a date for you we are rejecting other booking requests for that date). Cancelling cruises are non-refundable.

Simply send us a like-for-like quote for the exact same boat and inclusions and we’ll beat it. The only condition (as a measure to avoid false quotes), is that the boat must agree on the price.
