As the original boutique Sydney luxury charter vessel State of the Art has played host to some of the most recognisable and loved celebrity clientele in the world. HRH Prince Charles, Will Ferrel, Robert Di Niro, Megan Gale and Silverchair have been a few favourites.

This luxurious vessel is equipped with polished timber floors, large comfortable lounge suites, commercial galley, 32 inch flat-screen television with plug-ins for PowerPoint presentations, custom surround sound audio system and a large cool room stocked with your favourite beverages.

The commercial style galley easily caters for large corporate or social occasions and is available for use with a BYO optioned Charter. The main aft deck includes a dining table for 10 guests providing an amazing alfresco dining experience. The top deck has panoramic views of Sydney Harbour with an intimate lounge and small deck area. The large bow area is accessible while on anchor and equipped with a sun-bed.

State of the Art is ideal for team reward events, corporate entertaining, company meetings, product launches, Christmas parties, family gatherings, birthdays, weddings, proposals, engagement parties, Bucks and Hens parties and a large range of exclusive events tailored to your specifications.

A professional and friendly crew have a keen eye for detail and are always happy to attend to your every requirement. Motor Cruiser State of the Art is available for a minimum of 3 hours and is a fully licensed vessel.

Boat Hire Fees

November–February: $950 per hour (min 4 hours for day cruises)

March–October: $790 per hour

Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, and Australia Day: $1,200 per hour (minimum 4 hours). A 20% surcharge applies to waitstaff fees and all food and beverages orders on these dates.

New Year’s Eve: $25,000 BYO charter or $29,500 with Food & Beverages. 6:00pm-1:00am (7hrs). Rate based on 25 guests (additional guests up to 35 @ $900 per person)

Other Public Holidays: A surcharge of 20% applies for all other public holidays not listed above

Overnight Getaway (max. 2 persons): $7,000 inclusive of wharf fees, food, beverages and waitstaff (6:00pm–10:00am, not available on Saturdays in December)

Any Other Fees

Wharf Fees: 

  • $50 per wharf
  • Manly and Middle Harbour pick-up or drop-off incurs a $200 surcharge per wharf
  • Watsons Bay pick-up or drop-off incurs a $50 surcharge per wharf

Waitstaff:

  • 1-15 guests: 1 waitstaff required
  • 16-30 guests: 2 waitstaff required
  • 31-40 guests: 3 waitstaff required
  • $250 per waitstaff for 4 hours (additional hours at $60 per hour)

BYO Food:

  • $250 flat-rate

BYO Beverages:

  • $20 per person
